tfpOnline:Even Fulmer Hobbled
"I got blowed up on the sideline Saturday," Fulmer explained.
On the plus side for Tennessee, tailback Arian Foster was full-speed after missing most of the past three games with a sprained left ankle. Other than tape on his left foot, Foster showed no trace of the injury, cutting sharply through gaps in the line.
Fulmer praised freshman center Josh McNeils performance in his first college start. McNeil played all but a handful of snaps in the victory at Memphis.
Given Froggs injury, McNeil is sure to get a second start Saturday.
"He did really well for his first start," Fulmer said, "and I think hes just going to continue to improve from there."
Freshman cornerback Marsalous Johnson didnt play at Memphis despite being reinstated after a four-game suspension.
Yet Johnson participated on the Vols kickoff coverage team during practice Monday, a sign he could be expected to play at Georgia.
"Marsalous is doing fine. Hes worked hard," Fulmer said. "I think as we go along, hell definitely get a chance to contribute."
A conspicuous Monday addition to the front line of UTs kick-return team Monday was former basketball player Stanley Asumnu, who wasnt used the past two weeks during blowout victories over Marshall and Memphis.
tfpOnline:Fake Noise Part of Preparation
For the first time this football season, prodigious roars were pumped through loudspeakers onto the Tennessee Volunteers practice field Monday. The goal was to simulate the environment waiting Saturday night in Georgias Sanford Stadium.
"This year, Georgia is sort of looking like we looked," Meachem said. "But its going to be a big game. Georgia is going to bring their A game. Theyre not going to lay down or blame it on their quarterbacks or whatever. Theyre going to take it up at practice every day and give it their all."

In Mondays practice, Terehsinski took roughly 75 percent of the first-team snaps.
"I felt really good,"
Tereshinski said. "I was able to do really anything that we did without it bothering me.
Its going to be 100 percent by Saturday. Thats the way Im preparing, and thats the way Im looking at it."
Richt said Tereshinski looked "real comfortable" and that he had a good practice.
Tennessean:Meachem In Stride
"All of us want to be great," Meachem said. "We don't want to be known as, 'Oh, he was a good receiver, but he never reached that point where he was great.' "
After all the talk about potential his first three years at Tennessee, Meachem is finally living up to his high school billing as one of the best receivers in the country.
