This team will go as far as this O Line will take us. We saw flashes of good running in the 4th and how the o line needs to be blocking for the run game. Our defense is solid and if you told me we would have only given up 27 points going in to the 4th I would have thought wed be right in the game. Pass blocking was terrible tonight and for the most part run blocking was no better. If the line steps up we win some games that we probably are predicted to lose. And we have to do something about kick returns.

Issue is that our center can not handle a true NOSE tackle with size and our Tackles cant handle a speed rusher..The good news is that no other team will we face will be that good up front expect for Bama.

Two true Freshmen on one side of the line vs. a tremendous DL on the road. It is what it is. They will grow and improve. They faced an almost insurmountable task tonight against superior size, experience, and talent and gave it their best effort and made a few plays. Better days are ahead and compared to very recent history, I'm very proud of the effort and lack of quit shown by the entire team including the offensive line.

They learned a lot tonight. I saw Crowder, Robertson and Coleman all get burned. Kerbyson too but I thought he did ok.

Maybe we should pass out of a Jumbo package with two TEs for better protection and Hurd to run or go out for a pass.

What about starting five new people do some of you not get? Unbelievable what you expect sometimes... And Oklahoma has a pretty good defensive line

I know he's a true Freshman but I'm not sure Coleman Thomas blocked anyone all night. It looked like he was playing in quicksand. Just doesn't look anywhere near athletic enough to be playing tackle.

Our O Line is only going to get better. Much like the rest of the team. We fought for 4 quarters and I can't remember the last time I saw a team down 17 in the 4th still fighting like that.

By the end of the season, no one is going to remember this game. We will be too happy about going 7-5 and then going to and winning a bowl game. It does make me wish that Tiny Richardson hadn't went pro early. I think he could have at least helped some tonight. I don't think that we would have won the game but at least he could have pass blocked against some of the Oklahoma pass rushers.

Jackson and Kerbyson did a fairly good job tonight overall, but the right side of the line is horrendous. I'm not bashing these kids because they have been thrown into the fire as true freshmen, and I felt really bad for Thomas especially. He just did not have the lateral quickness and got absolutely abused. Whatever's holding back Dontavious Blair needs to get corrected in a hurry. We really need this guy to step up and help our team. I think a lot was riding on him being able to come in and play right away, but for whatever reason it hasn't happened yet.

I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but the o-line problems fall on Dooley not recruiting enough serviceable linemen. Especially the recruiting class where he didn't take a single offensive lineman in the class. It's really showing this year with all the youth we are having to depend on.

These players are gonna put us back on the map with the guys we have on the roster and the guys coming in. The VOLS are on the rise, no doubt.

I watched him literally whiff on defenders. Seriously. Not even touch them...
