One thing for sure is the Pac-12 is going to be an offensive powerhouse.

Jones getting about 2 mil from SMU but he may be ready to make a move. Seems he is quickly growing tired of the clashes with Administration. Too, he let fans know of his disappointment with their poor turnout for the last home gm.
One to watch...

I was surprised he left Hawaii for SMU. Seemed like a lateral or a demotion. I think he would do well in Tempe.

I seem to remember he wanted to be the one to rebuild the program to its former glory. Personally, I would never leave Hawaii if I got the chance. I love college football, but come on, it's Hawaii.

Living there during the end of June Jones' time in Hawaii, I can tell you that he is still loved and revered among Hawaii fans. He DID build us to relative glory, with almost no funding. That was the reason he left. I've been around the practice facilities there. Their "practice field" doesn't deserve to be called a practice field. it's astroturf and is a shared facility with track and field, soccer, and Lacrosse. And don't get me started on Aloha Stadium. The place is a dump and it's about to fall apart. Even when the Warriors went to the Sugar Bowl and got a nice payout, the money was used to cover the cost of the university. Not a single cent went to the football program in dire need of cash to keep rising. June Jones didn't deserve to be treated the way he was, and now UH football suffers because of some political idiots.

June Jones would be an awesome fit for ASU, only because of his air it out philosophy that he had at Hawaii, ASU would quickly become a PAC 12 favorite. I believe Jones would get them back to a prominence in Tempe and go BCS bowling.

With Fedora's (UNC) name removed HC's Briles, Rhoads, and Sumlin remain as candidates.
Among assistant coaches, the most frequent names to surface are Oregon offensive coordinator Mark Helfrich, Wisconsin OC Paul Chryst, Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart and Tennessee DC Justin Wilcox. There is no indication of contact with any of them, but Helfrich would seem the most likely among them given ASU's pursuit of offensive-minded coaches and his connections with the program.
