Rules of Zo coaching.
1. No Technical fouls
2. RUN THE SYSTEM AND BE TOUGH NO MATTER THE PLAYERS
3. Fight adversity
4. Blame fans
5. Keep fighting that adversity
6. Throw hands in the air, let players do what they want
7. Make improbable sweet 16 run on 1 Lottery pick, 1 senior second rounder, multiple foreign players, and one of the best underclassmen/defenders in the nation.
8. Leave for an easier and less demanding Job
9. Blame fans.
10. If all else fails repeat 2,3,4,5 until another, less stressful and demanding, job comes up.
If we can keep Tyndall, that will be the best coaching trade off all time.
Zo gives us a Sweet 16, Cal gives us a bunch of money, and we get a much better coach.
I can't believe out of Pearl to Auburn, Martin to Cal, and us getting Tyndall, we are coming out the winner by a mile.
Granted Pearl will probably be fine and Tyndall still has much to prove, but I'm thrilled this has all gone this way so far.
Yes, but we haven't lost 7 of our last 8 and didn't get beat by 35 at home by a .500 team.
Which changes the discussion and is not what I was addressing. If Cal doing it is some of the worst basketball ever then what was it when UT did the same? Not defending anyone just saying that the anti-Cuonzo bias is playing a part in some of this
