Kansas lost to 2 win unranked UMASS in KC. Will we break their consecutive home win streak?

Also...
Do we go unbeaten at home this year?

That game was in Kansas City. It doesn't break KU's home winning streak.

Thanks. My bad, for not actually looking into that. All I saw was they had a 30 something game home winning streak, then they lost.
So, we can break their streak...
Hypothetically.

Gonzaga will beat us at home. Gonzaga is simply better, much better, than Tennessee.

I recall an absolutely awful performance by everybody at South Carolina in 2007. That season turned out ok. And, that game wasn't long before UT blasted eventual champ UF at TBA.

When Lofton rolled his ankle? Or was that at home?

It was in Columbia, and Lofton played.
We were blown out to fall to 6-6 in the SEC, IIRC.
We won the last four regular season games after that (Bama, @Arky, Fla, @UGA) to secure an NCAA bid.

Ok. That Georgia game was when the players went up into the stands to celebrate with the fans, right? Then we promptly got bounced out of the SEC Tournament in the first round by Carolina, correct? Just trying to make sure I got my years straight...

They went into the stands at UGA during Pearl's first season - 2006. We did eventually get bounced by USCe in our first SECT game that year.

In 2007, Pearl's second season, we got blown out badly in Columbia before winning the next four games to finish 10-6 in the SEC. We then lost to LSU in OT in our first SECT game. The team that got destroyed in Columbia is the one that took TOSU to the wire in the Sweet 16.

My point is just that the last time a Pearl-coached UT team looked head-scratchingly AWFUL, the Vols quickly rebounded to play good basketball.

I think Buzz swept UGA in 2005. It's actually been quite a while since we lost to UGA in basketball. Our streak on them is about 9 in a row - something like that.

I don't think so. Gonzaga lost to Arizona last night. Although they are like 7-2 or whatever, they have lost to some bad teams. (Arizona is who i'm talking about)

Arizona is Gonzaga's only loss this season thus far.
