This thread is not a knock on God or religion.

I just feel that my tithe is now in my taxes.

I have thought about this from a religious view for a while. At what point is Caesar's tax policy so punitive that the scripture regarding it become null and void?

Can't remember the verse but there is one that says the only way you can rob God is by not paying tithes. So there's that.

Do not pay tithe to the church, pass the plate.. Drop coin in the jar for cancer patients at your local store('s).

Wasn't trying to sound like a smarta** or anything also I wasn't taking a shot at you. Just posting something I thought would be relevant to this thread.

the only chance i have is if Jesus loves like i love my children...

that's it

i'm an old man i always fail in God's eyes and my eyes

but i would die for my children

and i believe God loves me more than i love Them

This doesn't even make any sense. Why tithe a church when your money could go directly to helping more people at home? Surely God would appreciate that over paying the light bills or sending missionaries it Bibles to a country full of people that don't need/want help?
