Don't feel great about missing the game, but i'm on my way soon. Weather looks great.

I watched 50 laps. My interest in Nascar continues to drop. Was it me or were there a lot of empty seats Doozer. I hate Jeff Gordon but I'm pulling for him to win this championship. His lead would be over 450 without the chase and he would have easily be solidifying his 6th championship without the chase. Phoenix is the only race left worth watching.

AMS is beautiful, one of the nicer facilities to visit. How was the trip? Look forward to the pics.

I agree. Haven't watched an entire race since Summer Loudon, when i was there. It just isn't fun anymore, with the COT, make rules as we go, Fine Joe and suspend Bob. The local 1/4's and 1/2's are more entertaining, fork Brian France and his junk.

I've been a NASCAR fan since i can remember, and it is just a lousy product now. No fun, for those who have been into the Cup for a while. So we'll give up our annualy renewed seasts at NHIS since the track opened up, and 8 at Dover. Screw the crap, we're going fishing on Champlain next summer instead.

Atlanta probably hasn't sold out a race this decade. Neither has Charlotte, for that matter.

When you start seeing big chunks of empty seats at Bristol, then you can start to worry.

I'm surprised they haven't started taking down the grandstands to mask the fact there aren't as many people there. Charlotte tries to hide the empty seats by just not having the lights on in those empty sections.

the best that ever happened to Atlanta was the tornadoes taking out the backstretch stands. the place would have REALLY looked empty. it's also completely asinine they have lights there and don't use them for a race.

Jtrain, you were crazy for having season tickets anyway. there isn't a NASCAR track around that you can't pick up a few for face or less, even Bristol. couldn't even tell you the last race i went to where i paid over face.
