Said it was no big deal. But we lose him for any significant time, and we are in trouble possibly. Thank God for Hinske.

And it begins... I have never experienced as bad a sports year as last year in my life. Lets hope to a better 2012.

If the injury and time table are what Freeman thinks, he'd still get close to 3 weeks of Spring ABs.

Just curious.. did you become a Colts fan when Peyton was drafted or before? Will you still follow the Colts if he is not there next year?

Well when he was drafted I was only 10 or so and I had just moved to Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana area. Was never going to pull for the Bengals so it was kind of a perfect storm for me to become a Colts fan. I will most definitely stay a fan if/when He is gone. Stayed one this year... haha

Even more disrespect for McCann, on MLBN they are ranking the top 100 plaers right now and the have Mac at 47!!!!, one ahead of the Arizona catcher. So that means he will probably be the 4th best catcher on that list behind Molina, Nappoli, and Avila. HR and Liter both said, it's a toss up between Molina and McCann for the top catcher spot and the host said Mac is on the rode to the HoF and they both agreed. Don't see how a guy on his way to the HoF can be the 4th best catcher in baseball right now.......smh

I think he actually caught a pretty good amount with the Rangers. He probably will this year, as well.

61 out of 162 games this year.

He's never caught 100 games in a season.

That's a catcher?

Caught more than I thought he would in Texas.

McCann being moved off catcher would help him last a lot longer.

Another reason the AL gains an advantage with the dh....

If you believe what they say about the "pop times" for Christian Betencourt, if he hits at all, McCann will be playing elsewhere.

Betencourt has some freakin nasty potential. Also, there is this kid Evan Gattis. Great story on Braves.com about him. He has incredible potential. Think Josh Hamilton in terms of his story.

I believe the times.. But he's only got this year to hit or not before mccanns a fa. I think the braves would like more time to evaluate his offense. Gonna be a gamble either way.

Edit: Nvm. Pretty sure we have an option on McCann for next year as well. Two years should be plenty..
