I'm just now about to break into the Redbreast actually but I wasn't able to participate in the days festivities like I'd normally like to. Leaving early tomorrow morning for a trip to Orlando so it made today a lot more hectic than it might normally be. I will however enjoy the last couple hours of the day.

We went with a new bottle of Green Spot tonight. Really delicious.

Hate it when March 17 falls in the middle of the week. It jumps to Thursday next year, which is a little better. And then by the time it works its way back around to Tuesday I might be dead anyway.

Who you got winning your bracket, Breeze?

Man to be honest I haven't watched more than five minutes of a college basketball game that didn't feature tennessee this year. I don't know if I'll even fill one out. I'd pick KY though.

Not filling a bracket out this year. It causes me to watch games differently, so I just want to enjoy them this year.

I would probably pick Arizona or UK, though.

How was the game, Breaz?

Not the best, but such is life. We won the league last year but had 9 8th graders/2 7th graders. This year I have 2 8th graders/5 7th graders/3 6th graders. League is surprisingly competitive for a middle school league that's essentially evolved into an extension of the 14u travel ball scene. Could be a long "rebuilding" year.

Outside of VOLS I am done with college basketball. Until they get serious about their product and hire 1/2 way competent referees, I won't be back.

This is true

But refereeing is a problem in the NBA as well. Big one

Agreed. Still a much better product, so I can't completely turn my back. But outside of Grizz, I haven't followed as much NBA as in the past.

.35 shot clock in the college game makes it borderline unwatchable as well.

For me it's the 35 second shot clock, awful fouls called, and 5 fouls for a foul out instead of 6. That means those awful calls put more players on the bench too much.
