IMO, one of JP Prince's greatest qualities was that we could get the ball to him at the free throw line and he could single-handedly beat any zone by driving to the goal. Watching teams that have zoned us this year, I so far have been perplexed as to what we've not tried to put anyone at the line in the soft spot of the 2-3 and go from there.

We don't have a JP this year, but I'm a bit perplexed why we don't put Hopson or even Goins (yes, size would be an issue here) in the middle to let them try to penetrate to dish it. Run a flex on the top with the 1, 2, and 3 guys to attack it. Heck, Harris has a good enough 8-10 footer that I would think he could go there, shoot it, drive, dish it inside, or hit the 2 or 3 slashing from the wing.

I guess attacking a zone seems a lot simpler than what we make it to be. Heck, even Green was able to figure out how to do it. So what am I missing or oversimplifying with my thoughts?

The most important thing is getting the ball to the high post, then that guy can shoot, drive, dish to the wings or to the low post. Tobias can be that guy.

Tobias needs to be @ the high post @ times, agreed. Also, Melvin, Scotty, and Cam MUST attack the space (gaps) in the zone. If we don't attack it with dribble, well be done for. Unless we can muster up 15 more 70%from 3 pt games.
