Taking my granddaughter for her first game. I haven't been in a long time. We are sitting in section W row 58. Are these under the awning or at least somewhat shaded? Also, we are getting there early to take in the Vol walk. What else is there for her to do while we wait for kickoff? I have a parking pass in G17, so not a bad walk I don't think. Thanks for any help.

Very nice seats. Hope you and she enjoy and she becomes a Vol Fan for Life. My 5 year old grandson thinks he is a UGA fan because his other grandmother is a Dawg. His other grandfather is a Gump so losers all the way around. My two oldest grandsons are Memphis Tiger fans due to their other grandparents and Vandy fans because they live close to Vandy and some of the Vandy athletes come to speak to their classes.
I can only hope that before I cross over to whichever other side I am destined for, I have a chance to convert them all over to be Vols.

C’mon now buddy, you don’t know which side you’re destined for?

Along with the Vol walk you can catch the Band March in. She will enjoy Vol Village where the Cheerleaders and food vendors are. Plenty to do before kick off but I would be in my seats at least 30 minutes early to watch the opening ceremonies, especially the running through the power T.

I do have one concern since she is only 8 (big old 3rd grader), what precautions do you take when it's time to go potty? I'll be scared silly with being separated even for a minute!

I hope the two of you have a blast!

Great seats. Thank you @WillisWG for posting that. I'm upper deck in the sun, and was moved there once my parents grandfather thing ended. At one time, under the upper deck in both G and then S.
You are in for a great day. Enjoy and Go Vols.

I have 3 generations flying into K-town tomorrow. Myself, son, granddaughter and grandson. Gonna be a great experience for us all. Section C row 30 ...I think. Can't wait till Saturday.
That's memories you will all cherish for a lifetime! Really cool to have that opportunity.

I feel your pain brother, my son-in-law has made my two grands into Gator fans. I am going to watch the game with them next Saturday, I hope TN puts a whooping on them for the ages (the Gators not my grandchildren).
