a unc 247 mod posted this tonight...

Tennessee's recruiting efforts to try and secure Tuttle is not the only example of the SEC making moves in the land of pines. In 2014, the Volunteers came in and stole 2013 Charlotte four-star wide receiver Marquez North from the grasp of the UNC coaching staff. CarolinaBlue cannot confirm if Tennessee's recruitment of North necessary fell within the rules of the NCAA.

his twitter handle is boss_martin247

you know what to do:yes:

There is a great quote that applies to situations like this:

"Don't argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level and beat you with experience"

They should've had Roy help recruit North. There's no telling what he could've added in helping the football staff...

I've learned it's best to let other people's NCAA investigations, Coaches leaving, player arrests, player injuries, and the like, not be made light of. I remember when I laughed at Bama fans for these things................then Kiffin came and went, couches burned and the "Lawyer" supposedly rescued us from NCAA. And I could go on and on. Best to just ignore the sinking ship that is Carolinablue, just looking for hits from a gigantic fanbase that lives next door.

This post is stupid for several reasons.

1. "necessary" should be "necessarily." If you write for a living, please do it correctly

2. Unless you were there for absolutely 100% of the recruitment, you can never "confirm" it was totally within the rules. It is much easier to prove a single evidence of wrongdoing (which the poster clearly cannot do, otherwise he would have) than it is to prove an entirety of rightdoing (if that's even a word),

The poster's statement is no more valuable than simply stating "I guess it's possible that at some point Butch committed a violation. I really have no idea."

They were GIVEN a Music City bowl win & they're a BB school so go round up Roy Williams for a game of horse. And of ALL the schools in the world that shouldn't be trying to throw stones about an NCAA violation it's North Carolina!!!

It's the circle of life for the fake recruiting insider. We've seen it time and time again. They recycle information, start to believe they're actually an authority on something and then start acting like this guy.
