There's some names being thrown around.

Chuck Oliver "king of college football" and an Auburn grad has said that the Barn is serious about getting Jimbo from FSU. There's some talk amongst Auburn people that Jimbo would be interested in the job.

I've also heard Rich Rodriguez and Bobby Petrino.

Nobody really knows. I am pretty sure that Auburn will go after a BIG hire. They have to, they need somebody to compete with Saban right now. They also have plenty of money to make it happen.

I've heard this but I can't understand it. Why would a CFB HC make a lateral move? In this case it might not even be lateral. The Barn's a train wreck right now and Saban's still at Bama.

Like everyone else, I don't see the Jimbo move at all. Petrino is my guess.

Word I'm getting is that the AD (Jay Jacobs) is really on the hot seat. Thinking is that he will be gone first and that may mean Chiz gets another year so the new AD can make the hire (I'm sure Hart would have preferred that).

There has been a rumor going around for awhile now that FSU promised Fisher a variety of things including Facility upgrades, and he is upset that they do not appear to be following through at this point.

Someone posted a link in the FF that says the 'Burn president is preparing in cause he has to replace Chizik, but it doesn't say he is fired yet.

Auburn 24/7 said he is gone. Low says he will not be back next season and that an announcement will be made before the season concludes.

On Finebaum today a guy from Auburn 247 said that the major rumor from people in the admin is they are looking at Louisville's OC. Barn fans would lose their minds with a no name hire. The 247 guy was very serious about this too.

auburn has already sent word and started interaction with Fisher. he is the # 1 target.

reasons?

FSU hasn't made upgrades promised.
Jimbo not fond of Tallahassee
only makes around 2.2 million
SEC better than ACC

I feel like they'll end up with Petrino. Other options: Paul Rhoads (Iowa State), perhaps Butch Jones?
