Sup fellas I know we're 5 months out from the old barn game and I know I'm prob just gunna get the predictable schedules aren't out yet..but if anyone has an idea of when that game time will be or when they will announce schedules it would be a huge help. Headed up that way from down south and trying to plan my trip. Thanks!

I think they announce game times 2 weeks before the game.

I'm not totally sure maybe somebody else could help out

It will depend on what other games are scheduled around the SEC that week and which network picks each game. My guess would be a night game on ESPN or ESPN2.

since both teams will prob not be top of the conference, i would imagine that it will be the 11:30 game on SEC Network

that being said, if either team is doing well, it could be the ESPN 2 game at 7 or 8pm.

of course this post is its pure speculation and you should really refer to almirUT's post

Since the game is on Nov 9, it probably won't be announced unti Oct 28th. They usually announce times the Monday 2 wks before the game. 12 days out in other words. That's when the networks start choosing the best match ups.

This is actually the one weekend of the year you can go ahead and plan for. November 9th is the day of the CBS 3:30/8:00 doubleheader, with LSU-Alabama already announced for the 8:00 game.

Through this year, CBS has exclusivity for their timeslots, so all other SEC games on November 9th will begin at 12, 12:21 and 12:30.

Therefore, unless UT and Auburn have surprising seasons and earn the 3:30 slot, the game will be a Noon kickoff.

I don't care what time it is, I just hope we beat them. I still can't believe Auburn has a winning record against us...

I hope it's a night game. I try to do a big tailgate party each year for one game, and tailgating for a noon game is, shall we say, not easy to do? :) I prefer to be there all day long and enjoy my "pregame rituals." (i.e. lots and lots of rum and beer) :toast:

It will not be a night game. CBS is showing LSU-Alabama at 8, and has exclusivity for that timeslot.

The match-ups are lame that week. The only real competition for the 3:30 slot are UT-Barn, A&M-MSU, and Ole Miss-Arkansas.

No kidding. If you're planning on going to the game and travelling from S Fl what difference does it make? Unless he's trying to figure if he should take Fri or Mon off. Take both!

Trying to plan out a cabin rental for that weekend. If its a day game I don't mind spending the extra money to head back to the mountains after the game..if its a evening game I don't wanna end up driving back to gatlinburg at 2 am and have to leave the next day..rather save a little money and get a hotel closer to Knox and i75 so we can get on the road. Better?

I think Appy State vs UGA will be the early game . LSU and Bama will be the late CBS game . The rest are up for grabs

November 9. It's UT vs. Auburn so you will need to be there all day!
