Gotta love the fact that he mentions UK looking for a coach today 11/29. For some reason I thought they hired a coach 2-3 days ago. :eek:lol:

Hope Auburn hires Stong and Kirby Smart gets hired elsewhere. I don't want Hart to fall back on either of these guys as our coach.

I think Gundy would be a great option for the Vols, unfortunately, the biggest booster T Boone Pickens will pay through the nose to keep him (spelling may be off).

Strong would be the guy I would want to go after if we whiff on Gruden. Could spend the extra money to get a kick ass staff.

Well I don't know how I feel. I don't want Strong as one of our first few choices, but I'd take him over Golden, Fedora, and either of the Butches. I'm about even on him and Fisher though.

I dont see Strong taking that dumpster fire of a job, especially with who knows what kind of danctions on the way. Jmo. I would love to get Strong if Gruden fell through, which at this point sounds unlikely but anything is possible. Do believe we have our guy.

Smart will definitely not be our Coach based on Harts comments. Strong would be a very solid hire but not sounding like we have to worry about it. Hopefully anyway.

Auburn is going to get a Dooley type hire with the mess they are in...unless they just finally go public with their criminal persona and hire Petrino.

Who is Grundy? Dont see Strong nor Gundy taking that job. Think Strong would if AU wasnt looking at Sanctions. Think they may have a hard time finding a quality coach. They could get Petrino but that doesnt sound like a smart move. On the other hand they deserve each other.

According to The Afternoon Underdogs on WKRD sports radio they said Charlie Strong received a phone call from someone on the Auburn coach search team. So it was VERY informal. Strong meet with each individual player earlier to tell them face to face he is not going anywhere. Now that's a coach who cares about his players.
