He's done well at Memphis. But with Henderson, it's not that hard ha. But that's probably a pretty solid hire.

Auburn takes what 1 week to hire an OC and we are on our what, third week? I mean lol.
thought he'd have been a good one to consider, but also think his type of offense probably fits Gus better than Pruitt (spread type)? That being said, somewhat agree... MAYBE one day soon...

A guy that MAY have called plays for 1 year? lol. Essentially a position coach hire. It's Norvell's offense and he may even call the plays.

But he did spend 09-13 as the football camp manager for the City of Scottsdale lmao

And they got a good one in my opinion. One we could have got if we had tried. I don't know any good reason it's taking us this long to hire an oc

Well there is this guy that is held in such high regards that he is still called coach (Matthews) that said the OC search is done. Also, he didnt recognize the name of the OC but also said he doesnt know why its taking so long for the announcement. Thats IF you believe he has credible info.

Good hire for Auburn but bad career choice for Dillingham. Gus runs his plays and Gus might not have a job after next season if he makes it through next season.

Do you get a trophy for hiring quickly? It's not a race unless you're fighting over the same person. Pruitt may have his guy for all we know.

Maybe he does. But the reason for not making the announcement is baffling. With the early signing period looming, one would think making the new OC known would be a benefit.

I think it would be a benefit also,, unless we get a no name or promote from within. Maybe thats why he doesn't want to tell who it is, promoting from within or no name coach. I have no idea why its not announced if we truly have one. I really don't believe he has anyone under contract. And if Pruitt is going to run his own offense it really doesn't matter who oc is. I am as you are totally baffled.
