Auburn Left Out Again

Aub is considered professional as they paid their players. This was amatuer rankings

Agree, I have always pulled for the SEC team in the NC, if it had been LSU and Ok.St, would have been for LSU all the way. But just couldn't be for au last year, have no respect for a bought NC.

eh, to each their own. I'll pull for the SEC either way. Sometimes its harder than others ie Fla or Bama but I'd rather see one of our kind win it all every year than others. Equally satisfying why they call the SEC 'weak' that year. IMO, every school cheats and pays players on some level. Sometimes they get caught, sometimes they dont. I doubt USC, OSU,Texas, Bama, or Fla were squeeky clean in the NC years either.

Even though nothing has been found about $cam, how many really believe that. I think when he didn't even get SEC player of the year, that pretty much said it loud and clear how the rest of the sec felt about him.

If I'm not mistaken, instead of paying players to come, the UK football program actually pays high profile recruits NOT to visit, so that we don't waste money on their experience, which ultimately takes away from the basketball program.

is it "good"? sure, a bit. You can always say you were beat by the best. Also, you can say that you play in the conference that had the NC.

As well as it benefitting UT is some small way I'll pull for them since I follow most of the SEC more than I follow any other team or conference, directly or indirectly.

I totally agree. This "SEC" crap got old 3 years ago.

The other SEC teams winning NCs doesn't help UT one bit.

I think I gotta go with the Auburn guy here. To hell with Alabama. To hell with Florida. To hell with LSU. To hell with every other SEC school that doesn't run through a T. It does Tennessee no good whatsoever for these other programs to win a championship. If anything, it hurts because it just raises their profile even more, making it harder to recruit against them.

You're ruining all those SEC pride guys thunder. What will they do without all their bandwagons to hang off of? I agree. You really don't want the teams your competing against hoisting trophies all the time. Makes it very hard to recruit against them.
