Well, we definitely didn't get any breaks this year with our schedule.

Regardless, it's another chance for a huge win for CBJ.

Just gotta hope we play at home as well as we did against USC and UGA

Personally, I think this has all the makings of a trap game for Auburn, but I can also see us getting blown out again. Depends on how the team responds after last night.

AP Poll doesn't effect BCS rankings...which is whatever espn and everyone else (that's not SI.com) will show them as being ranked

(nothing personal)

im still perplexed as to how we have the #3 SOS. i believe we have the hardest schedule ever. away games at #1,2,13?(forget what florida's rank was), and #9 and home games against #6,11,7... i really have never seen anything like it. at least we are getting experience for the future because the SEC isn't going anywhere.

Polls to me are getting to the point of being completely useless, none of the top 5 teams in the poll have a SoS greater than 47.

Because Florida and Georgia are nowhere near as good as the pollsters thought they were. That severely weakens the "TOUGHEST SCHEDULE EVARRR" argument.

Yeah but Auburn and Missouri are way better than anyone thought.

Still a good chance that 10 out of 11 FBS teams we play this year will have winning records, and 4-5 of those will have 10+ wins.

They're not the same teams now.. Mainly due to UT injuring have their rosters.

We'll probably have #1 SOS by end of the year. Remember that our current SOS is weakened a bit by some of the weaker teams on the front-end: Austin Peay, WKU, and USA.

Before this weekend, Ole Miss had #1 SOS. Seems reasonable, given that they've played Bama, LSU, A&M, Texas, and Vanderbilt.

It's very close to the toughest schedule ever. I couldn't imagine a much tougher one

well i appreciate that that is how you imagine me sounding. those teams were healthy when we played them and were appropriately ranked at the time. last i heard the top 2 schedules were purdue and utah or something and i have no idea how. can't imagine any team in the country would have traded schedules with us preseason

Why does it seem like we always play auburn, ark, miss when they are having their best seasons and never when they are struggling? It's crazy to me..

Of course we aren't playing ark this year, but we are playing auburn, and of course we couldn't have played aub last year when they were awful..

Who was it last night they said had tougher schedules? Purdue and Utah? I laughed out loud for a few minutes when I heard them say that.

A significant part of that is taking advantage of a weaker than expected SEC.

I agree, I said at the beginning of the year the SEC is weaker, many juniors came out for the draft. With the new NFL agreement, very little incentive for players to stay for their senior year if they can make a team. LSU lost like 10 juniors last year, I expect 5-8 more this year. I suspect a weaker SEC going forward.

Didn't intend that for you directly. Just that after hearing the argument 456 times this year, including from our own coaches, that's how it starts to play in my head.

That was Steve Levy, who called the game for ESPN. I knew without even looking at their schedules that there's no way that could possibly be true. Then I looked at their schedules and it turns out I was right. No one in their right mind would try to make the argument that their schedules are tougher than our's.

Signature win #2, even better over #7 team. Team will be different Saturday.

lol it is alright. my internet voice that i use for everyone is them sounding like an idiot. it is going to take a great showing from our crowd and a complete 180 on defense to have a shot at auburn

You give Vandy too much credit.
