I'm sure it's because Chizik couldn't coach and because he knew the stuff with Cam was coming out and he didn't to be there if the NCAA started hammering the program.

What a difference the coach can make. If your not a good coach, you had better surround yourself with good coordinators and let them have a lot of say so.

Basically a tactical retreat. He knew what was about to go down and took another job to wait for the right opportunity. It came.

Not really a new coach.. Those are his players he recruited for his system. Of course it's going to be a lot easier to adapt to a playbook and system you were just in two years ago versus and entire team having to learn a completely different system and some having to learn 3 systems in their 4 years. Still impressive but should of been expected.

They played LSU pretty tough too. They just dug too big of a hole to early to crawl out of. I'd give them a great chance if they played again.
