Audirvarna, JRiver, etc

Anyone using one of the premium music server programs and if so what's your experience.

I'm about to try Audirvana (free 15 day trial). Just bought an inexpensive DAC to use with Airplay to my stereo.

So I hooked up the DAC - definitely helps smooth things out. Got this one for under 30 bucks - worth it for sure

Started my trial of Audirvana today. Seems to improve things a bit but need to listen more. Using Airplay probably mitigates many of the potential improvements. If I get into higher quality digital files I'm sure it will be worth it.
