Should help uconn with recruiting - like they need it.
Could it be an all uconn Olympic team?
Guess we'll see the uconn assistant coaches in their bikini's on the beach in Rio.:D
He will need help. Perhaps he'll pick Holly.

Good luck to Geno. Excellent pick as the next coach for the USA National Team in the Olympics. He will make us proud of the American team. Personally, I can't stand the man because of the intense rivalry we've had between the two schools. But good luck to him & the team he will have to represent the USA in the Games.

No good luck wishes to an Italian draft dodger.

Auriemma was 1 month shy of his 18th birthday when the last draft drawing was held in February 1972. That drawing was for men born in 1953. He was born in 1954.

Can you explain how Auriemma "dodged" the draft?

Probably by closing the window.

I wonder if this will help uconn's recruiting. It certainly helped Pat recruit after she went to the Olympics. The talent flocked to Tennessee.

Also, why did he "suddenly" decide to become a naturalized US Citizen just before his team was schedule to be in Italy?
