"James W. Conradt was trying to be funny. That's his excuse, anyway, for posting a fabricated story about the arrest of Oklahoma quarterbacks Sam Bradford and Landry Jones on an Internet message board Wednesday, complete with a formatting template and byline stolen from The Oklahoman newspaper."

This guy is an idiot, it was inventive, but he effectively stole intellectual property that has seriously embarrassed The Oklahoman. This appears to be one of those "jokes" that caused a lot more damage than the guy anticipated.

The Oklahoman has already announced they are suing this imbecile. It is my fervent hope that he ends up destitute living under an overpass.
