No need for any other description for the coaching and playing. We finally made it to the bottom of the barrel.

If I was the coach and this team only scored 3 points in the second quarter, I would only start freshmen in the start of the third quarter, after chewing them up like they never heard or seen during half time. And practice back home would be sombrutual they would beg to transfer to another team.

To give you an idea of how deeply we have sunk into the mentioned barrel, consider that even UT Martin beat this Alabama team by 18 points back in December. I am wandering around like a blinded and bewildered man in my house hoping to find some semblance of my dignity. This season has sharpened the meaning of the term "unprecedented" for me.

I think this is what Holly is doing.

Not to pick on one player after this game but I have never seen a player look so depressed to walk on to the court as Diamond. It certainly seems like it is affecting her play.

I've defended DD but after she spouted off after the LSU game I was expecting big things, she surely disproved her point. We just don't have it. It wasn't entirely coaching, they ran plays just couldn't hit shots. How many shots did we miss at the rim? Looks like Georgia will kill us, going to be there for our Srs Sunday even though my heart isn't in it. We have tickets to SEC tourney, hubby will have to take an extra day off to get there for Thursday game. I fear we will probably leave there on Fri. (the day we originally planned on arriving) Listening to the post game is depressing, I must go to bed.:thud:

It isn't going to happen, first she isn't a coach and second we don't have enough freshmen, and certainly won't have enough next year. Three timeouts left with 59 seconds to go, with no chance to win, just goes to show she has nothing to say to the team concerning setting up a play.

I actually think that they will beat Georgia, and beat them badly at that.

They may quit on Holly, but no way will they quit on Bashaara. They will let her have her moment of glory for her last game at TBA.

Plus, UGA is without Barbee.

I absolutely agree with your statement. Coach Barnes let 3 of his players sitting on the bench for the second half of the South Carolina game. Why not do the same with some LV players?:clapping:

Go ahead and sit Cooper and Diamond. Guarantee you that Jordan and Andraya won't make a difference. For all that were pounding their fists for Kortney to replace Diamond in the lineup, we saw tonight what happens when she gets guarded man-to-man. She's not the savior.

One thing I don't understand is why Alexa didn't play more tonight. She's the best interior passer on the team. In a game like this where Tennessee had such a size advantage inside, why not have her in the game to get the ball to the posts in good position to score?

On a side note, Mercedes really does have frying pans for hands. She has no touch on any of her post up moves. It's like a line drive when the ball leaves her hand.

Are you serious or being sarcastic? My meter may be broken. Sad to see Graves last game at TBA. But I definitely hope it's HOLLY DOOLEY WARLICK'S last game at TBA. She shouldn't even get that privilege IMO. Create a coaching vacancy NOW Dave Hart! Get started on finding a replacement.

GA without Barbee is a better team than LSU has with all it's walk-ons. And they beat the Lady Vols. No reason to think Lady Vols will beat GA.

Holly is clueless and she clearly cannot coach a talented team yet along a 5th grade youth team... We have a number one recruit who has looked liked a 300 recruit... the last 5 number one recruits had the ability to carry their teams Griner Mos-Lewis Stewie hell even Aja Wilson and now Samuelson and look at Russell seriously look at her compared to Wilson Sam Stewie etc she is horrible it's all on coaching Tennessee needs a new coach or this program is done for... New coach asap I feel sorry for this team... Tennessee is unofficially the worst team in the sec

I'm sorry if Holly does it, it won't work!!!

I was in college when Wooden's teams were making the NCAA tourney a UCLA invitational. I, and about 100 million other bball fans were hoping somebody, anybody would end their reign and restore some interest in the sport. It happened and Wooden retired. Bball was all the better for it. Tenn and UConn were on the verge of doing the same thing to the women's game. Pat's tragic demise ended half that equation, but there the similarity to UCLA ends. The Bruins dropped back, but have remained a factor. Not so the LVs. Their dogged insistence on coaching inbreeding has turned the LVs into an average NAIA team. Maybe they should take a cue from Sewanee (a founding member of the SEC) and adjust their schedule accordingly.

I agree they could very well win, but I think you are overstating the camaraderie of the team....

jMHO I think the players are playing tight ! Scared to shoot, scared not to shoot, scared of making a turnover, and you cannot play free and loose if your emotionally being held gostage ! And I think holly is being held hostage by the success of the program and pat summit ! And her tenseness is obviously being passed down to the players ! She needs to go !
