Back your coach. Seriously VolNation? What do you expect? We all knew Tennessee was expected to be 6-6. Or worse. But when it became reality, you all want to fire the coach? Well some of you not all. But it's the principle, players don't want to go to a school where they are unsure. Whom they will be playing for in 3 years. Get Behind your coach or get you a new team just a laughable fan base. Go Vols! :hi:

The stupid crowd waits for games like these. There are some idiotic fans but for the most part I believe everyone knew the hand we were dealt this year.

Who's calling for bj to be fired? That would be absurd.

It would be absurd to call for ANY coach, on the Tennessee staff to be fired.

Just curious. Who said fire Jones? The team has not performed to its talent level. That's not saying he'll never get a team to do so. That's not suggesting it is time to talk about firing him.

Dooley called it "year zero"... short hand for basically the same complaints Jones has about depth, talent, lack of development, etc.

Kids want to play for great coaches. I like Jones a lot... but am not convinced about the DC.

That's actually not true. Recruits accept that elite coordinators are likely to leave for better jobs. HC stability is very important to recruiting... others not nearly as much.

They probably trust that their HC will provide them with the best coordinators and position coaches...

Yep, lets keep an assistant coach just for the sake of STABILIY. Nevermind the fact that maybe he can't coach.

I haven't read where anyone is suggesting that Coach Jones be fired.

Fans holding the coach accountable. Imagine that.

Did i say Coach Jones? Coach can be Coach Jancek etc. But coordinators do ALOT in the recruiting process they do. Study the coordinator and how he represents himself.

We have our share of idiot fans just like every team but ours is by far, the worst. The excuses we get on here are just laughable.

I back Jones 1000%. However it has become painfully clear that Jancek and Bajankian cannot cut in the SEC.

I back CBJ. His assistants need some work though.

On the bright side, I don't think we have to worry about another school stealing him away after this season. :)

They also look for those coaches to actually improve their players.

They look for coaches that can put them in position to win against good teams.

Something this staff is showing that they cannot do.

I don't care what type of coach we have, but if you have players that don't want to hit nobody and all they want to do is "arm tackle" then coaching is NOT the problem, remember people this is NOT this coaching staff's players and the ones that are, are the ones performing ala, North, Dobbs, Sutton, Swafford, Vereen, Wiseman, soooo, be patient and just think if they get like 5-7 more players like those above.............ITS A PROCESS.................

Jancek hasn't figured out how to fix the containment on the edge problems and he never makes adjustments. I do think once we get some faster players it will help but there has to be something he can do until then.

Bajankian is too conservative and calls the same crap over and over.
