Back your coach.

I don't care what type of coach we have, but if you have players that don't want to hit nobody and all they want to do is "arm tackle" then coaching is NOT the problem, remember people this is NOT this coaching staff's players and the ones that are, are the ones performing ala, North, Dobbs, Sutton, Swafford, Vereen, Wiseman, soooo, be patient and just think if they get like 5-7 more players like those above.............ITS A PROCESS.................
Wow! Players that don't want to hit, arm tackle..............wonder who makes the decision to play those players? Oh, wait............the defensive coordinator makes those decisions!

So, your point is, that because we are so devoid of talent, our defensive coordinator is forced to play these no hitting, arm tackling players because he has no other choice. I wonder if anyone ever considered trying to develop those players into players that wanted to hit and could use sound form to tackle with. Apparently not.

So does the majority here think that CBJ doesn't hold his assistant coaches with the same accountability as he does his players?

They also look for those coaches to actually improve their players.

They look for coaches that can put them in position to win against good teams.

Something this staff is showing that they cannot do.

just hush the last three teams we have played have lost 2 total games... that is the problem

Just curious. Who said fire Jones? The team has not performed to its talent level. That's not saying he'll never get a team to do so. That's not suggesting it is time to talk about firing him.

Dooley called it "year zero"... short hand for basically the same complaints Jones has about depth, talent, lack of development, etc.

Kids want to play for great coaches. I like Jones a lot... but am not convinced about the DC.

Not sure about that...our talent level is low.

And those kids and parents know CBJ cares and has their back.

It takes awhile to change the mentality of a team...next year will be a better reflection of where we are.

If by year three we're seeing this same level of play, recruits won't need the fan unrest to see the direction of the program.

must get to 6-6 as promised by CBJ else he's not credible. CBJ needs to kick butt now and show us his metal
