Same was said for Auburn last year. same was said when we were hiring Huepel. Nebraska.I am not so sure about that. Kiffin would bolt for A&M if they offered him the job imo.
I don't really recall but how serious of a candidate was Kiffin for the Auburn Job? I said Kiffin would likely bolt because he keeps mentioned the challenges of recruiting to Ole Miss. Did you hear his recent comments after the loss to UGA?Same was said for Auburn last year. same was said when we were hiring Huepel. Nebraska.
Always the same line. Oh he would jump at a chance for the resources of Auburn. Of he has reached his ceiling at Ole Miss he should come back to UT. This is the longest he has been anywhere surely he will jump at Nebraska.
eventually it will be correct, but until something changes with him I won't assume it will.
and again, he said them last year, and probably the year before that too, just with playing Alabama. Heck he said something similar even after beating TAMU.I don't really recall but how serious of a candidate was Kiffin for the Auburn Job? Elko was an assistant coach at A&M, so he understands the demands from the fanbase, the boosters, and the administration. It wouldn't be the splash hire of a Kiffin, Oregon's Dan Lanning, or even (gasp) Urban Meyer. However, it would be a sound decision, not unlike Tennessee's hiring of Josh Heupel. It would bring stability to an extremely unstable program.Or Mike Elko
