I have to agree. I read a story where they’ve finally convinced the police to start charging tow companies in Tampa. The report said that police have generally been taught to leave them alone and it’s gotten to where they believe they’re above the law or free of charge.

Tow truck companies have a license to steal your car, and charge an arbitrary extortion fee to for you to get it back.
