USCe and LSU with embarrassing loses. Florida loses as well. Here's to hoping the Cats finish it off with another L!! Early indications are tough year again.

Florida won a couple championships, LSU went to the Final Four, Tennessee went to the Elite 8.

Maybe not the norm but I definitely care about SEC basketball as a Tennessee basketball fan.

Yea it was a pretty embarrassing night to be in the SEC. Surely to goodness the teams that lost aren't as bad as they seem.

That's not quite fair.

I didn't follow Tennessee basketball before Pearl, but I do now. Support Coach Martin. If the first few games were any indicator, we might be as good or better as we were last year.

I love TN basketball been going to games since Don Devoe, but I could careless if the rest of the league wins or loses aslong as we are winning. Why pull for teams you recruit against. GO VOLS give Conzso a chance!!

Why did the South Carolina and LSU AD's decide it would be a smart idea to play road games against Elon and Coastal Carolina? Am I missing a recruiting pitch for those area that has recently popped up?

Sure, it's fair. Based on what you just said, you wouldn't fall into either of the categories I listed.

Call me crazy but I still feel like we are going to be the 5th or 6th best team in the SEC this year.

I just don't see all these "improved" teams everyone is talking about.

Yea Florida and Kentucky will probably sweep us, but Vandy, Georgia, Bama ect are beatable.

And obvioulsy everyone just chalking up losses to teams like Auburn, LSU, Miss St and Ole Miss are not giving our team enough credit.

South Carolina losing by 18 at home to Tennessee State early in the second-half. Words can't describe how bad South Carolina is. I would compare it to Hiroshima after the bomb was dropped.

Kentucky, Vandy, and UF are the only decent teams. Thats sad.

But good luck SEC, maybe they'll get in 4 teams to tourney.

I like how "no one cares" about basketball all of a sudden.

I care about everything from football to soccer at SC. I hate seeing our team go through this kind of slump. It sucks. Sucking has a tendency to make one apathetic.

Mississippi State has one terrible loss but 2 very good wins(top 20). So they are building a decent resume.

I care! That idiot that said no one cares about basketball isn't the norm. We all have some!!
