We haven't beaten Georgia since: 2016
We haven't won the SEC East since: 2007
We haven't won 10 games in a season since: 2007
We haven't beaten Bama since: 2006 Two weeks ago
We haven't beaten all of the Big 3 (Bama, Florida, UGa) since: 2004
We haven't beaten both our regular season SEC-West opponents since: 2001 This season
We haven't ranked #2 or higher (AP) since: 2001 Today
We haven't beaten Nick Saban since: 2001 The week before last
We haven't started 6-0 since: 1998 National Title Season This season
We haven't gone undefeated since: 1998
We haven't ranked #1 (AP) since: 1998
We haven't been SEC Champs since: 1998
We haven't been National Champs since: 1998

So we've already accomplished one thing we hadn't done since the year of our last national championship.

We can knock down two, maybe three more of these next weekend (UGa, Big 3, ranked #1 maybe).

I updated the OP to highlight the streaks we could end today. Beat Bama for the first time since '06 ... go to 6-0 for the first time since '98 ... perhaps make it into the Top 5 for the first time since '05.

Wow, we just started a season 6-0 for the first time since 1998, the year our lads went on to win the national title. We just sent Saban packing with an L for the first time since 2001 (he was at LSU then), and the Pachyderms home dejected for the first time since 2006.

Lot of bad streaks being thrown out the window today, and we'll break another tomorrow when we crack the Top 5 for the first time since 2005.

Kentucky and Georgia, we're coming for you, too. UT Martin, you first, little fella.

Heupel is SEC coach of the year unless the wheels fall off. Maybe national, but Kansas seems to be missing their opportunity.
