Would someone please explain why there are always ball boys that have away jackets on.

Example, there are a couple guys in Tennessee gear on the Missouri side. Wouldn't that be a conflict of interest?

If im correct on this, I believe each team puts ball boys on each side of the field just to make sure they cant get a ball into play as soon as possible.

Think you missed what he was asking/saying

He didn't complain about their fashion, he was curious why teams have ball boys on the other team's sideline

each team has their own ball when on offense and the ball boys job is to give the balls to the refs when they are on offense. they have to be on both sidelines since balls may go off the field on either side and the ball boys have to give a new ball to the ref.

Thanks guys. I didn't realize that they would travel to away games. Also you see them standing near an opponents coach, you think they could hear a call and signal back to our team.

This

. Tennessee had a ball boy on Missouri's sideline and Missouri had a ball boy on Tennessee's sideline.

TAM uses extra ball boys so they can collect more footballs for Johnny $ootball to sign. They are a little sensitive about this issue!
