Have seen folks talk about the Baron play to start the 2H but haven’t seen any mention of this one (realize complaining about the refs gets you nowhere and we’ve received our share of favorable calls, but call it therapeutic)

CBS also miraculously cut the replay short when showing Burton after the catch, but they replayed Herring’s try at the ball multiple times and brought in their in-game referee

As you can see from the picture, there was no way the referee could see that occur..lol.

Rule 6.5-2: states that grabbing the neck is allowed as long as the helmet stays on and the team committing said offensive is wearing red.
I looked it up.
And rule 10.3.91 subsection Alabama games states all teams playing Bama have to keep all arms below the shoulder level. If Alabama assists the opposing team by holding their arms down to enforce the rule. It is an automatic loss of down and the ball.
