He does give them a better chance to win, Yeah, he makes a mistake but he does add alot of big play potential which is lacking with the other qbs.

If the offensive line can't get to somewhere resembling competent, it's not going to matter who is taking snaps... likely snaps that are in the dirt or over his head.

Offensive line problems? How can an SEC school have offensive line problems? What year is it now for Saban? 16, 17? He can't recruit!!

Fahr Saban!

It shut the fan base and press up. He knew they would win no matter who he started. Now he doesn't have to answer the questions about his QB anymore

Wise perspective. USF was never gonna take down Bama if you or I were under center for the Tide.

Speaking of which-since when does Bama play OOC games on the road-vs USF?

It’s an attractive road game for out of state teams. Usually visits have been from the Big 10 though. 9 times out of 10, it’s an easy win. Good area for recruiting and an attractive road trip for your fans. Also, get to play in an NFL stadium. Once USF finishes its on campus stadium in 3 years, no one from Power 5 will come down anymore; new stadium will only have 30k attendance.

Isn't it sort of funny how the fan base wants a new QB when the team lays an egg? Isn't it funny the OL line might really be the culprit? And isn't it funny the coach was right all along in his first choice of QB? Just saying.

It's a 2-for-1. USF is making 2 trips to Tuscaloosa for the 1 in Tampa. It's a good recruiting trip for Bama, and they don't have to pay for the return games.
