Well, if this was Tennessee, and he was a mitigated or range I offender, he would only have to serve a small fraction of those two years before he is eligible for release. I don't know off the top of my head, also I am not sure about LA though.

Exactly. In fact, the judge told him he made a good choice in taking the plea deal. He was looking at as much as 10 years if found guilty of sexual assault.

He got what he deserved in criminal court and he will also lose a lot of money in the civil suit filed by the LSU fan (it will be heard in a Lousiana court).
