Bama, Hog, & Vol Fans Unite In Dislike of Danielson

Yep. He slobbers over whoever the favorite/frontrunner is, which has been Alabama since 2009.

I still think the player/team he had the biggest hard-on for was Tebow and UF when Tebow was there.

I kid you not, up until probably the past 2 seasons, he would mention Tebow on every single telecast, regardless of who was playing. He always found a way to work Tebow into a conversation.

Oh, he still does it. He mentioned Tebow in a game a couple weeks ago.

That tells me that Gary is probably doing fine. Nothing is more predictable than twitter fan thinking the announcers, refs and conference hate their team.

Except Gary really does dislike underdogs though. There's always an assumption that the underdog is going to lose, and you can tell it pains him when an underdog does well. He's the color commentator for the SEC game of the week, so it's in his interest for the SEC's best program at any given time to do well.

Nah, most of the time the complaints are about their competency rather than their loyalty.

Announcers get paid to drum up ratings and hype around the teams their network carry, no surprise there. Just listen to the radio or I usually just mute the game and turn on some music. No point is getting annoyed by talking heads.

Gary loves Bama & Georgia.

Everyone else, not so much.
He loves frontrunners. He has creamed himself over Florida, Auburn, and LSU at various points as well. It's in his interest to have the SEC look as good as possible, and the SEC frontrunner in any given year losing a game is bad for business.

If Jimbo was ever able to get A&M going...oh my Lord. That program brings in more money than Alabama does today, and they haven't even won anything yet.

Vern was worse. He was like Jabba the Hutt trying to tongue Princess Leah whenever Florida was on CBS at 3:30 and Tebow was their QB.

I didn't really get this article. I didn't see it so much as backlash, but more congratulations to Gary for pointing out the bad officiating.

Maybe I'm missing something, but tell me if the following comment is backlash directed towards Danielson?

If Gary Danielson actually thinks Alabama shoulda been flagged for a play, then it’s pretty clear….

Click bait. Mine crap from Twitter (like an adult should care what is said on Twitter? Really?) for an article to generate views.

Danielson may suck but mining a children's toy for "news" is weak journalism.
