Big rumor floating around that a few players took a cruise that was paid for by a booster. I suspect that this is going to get interesting.Of course I cant help but wonder how Phil managed to turn them in on this and he's not even in coaching anymore.

I dont think there was much to that as far at the university was concerned, but I could be wrong.

Things may be interesting for the Bammers over the next couple of years. I will be curious to see what the NCAA says about the whole textbook scandal. I'm sure they will do everything in their power not to bring the hammer down on the Tide.

Sounds like they are going to lose a few schollys on the text book deal, and be put on probation. They can't have much more come up right now.

We will have a few on here in a little while to deny it, and say we should not rush to judgement. And that AU started all these rumors.

who are the dumb a** bosters who do this type of stuff. The players are already on the team, its not like they want something back from the players for giving them this trip? I hope our UT bosters aren't this stupid.

Go Vols.

Rex, your post title is redundant. Per Webster's Thesaurus (New Edition):

Entry Word: trouble
Function: noun
Text:
1 an abnormal state that disrupts a plant's or animal's normal bodily functioning [hoping that the doctor will be able to accurately diagnose my trouble] — see disease

2 something that may cause injury or harm [that wild dog is trouble, so stay away] — see danger 2

3 something that requires thought and skill for resolution [the police officers first broke up the fight and then asked what the trouble was] — see problem 1

4 the active use of energy in producing a result [please, don't go to all that trouble just for me] — see effort

5 the state of not being protected from injury, harm, or evil [if you think your brother might be in trouble, then let's go check up on him] — see danger 1

6 the state of Alabama, most specifically the Alabama football program. [cars, cruises, textbooks constantly plague the University of Trouble and will continue to do so until the end of time] - see Saban

That's the big secret. Phil wasn't really fired, he was just moved to another department within the AD where he is now responsible for covert spying operations. I hear that he is currently working undercover at a Krispy Kreme in Tuscaloosa. And you all thought they gave him office space just because he had a history with the school.

I like where you are going with this.

I can't imagine that operation having the ability to think its way out of a paper sack.
