And one of their strongest recruiters to aTm.

Think Jefferson might have 2nd thoughts?

I'm not sure that we would need to take him. We already have Matthews and Staley. I'd rather go after a LB, DT, OL, or DB.

Bama lost him, or Saban pushed him out the door? Bama has had zero development of their wide receivers over the last two seasons.
Bama had an unreal run on WRs. I’m not sure you do a lot of “developing” with players with that kind of speed & quickness. The last two years they’ve been above average at that position but no one can make jermaine Burton Devonta Smith, Waddle, Etc

But the same guy developed DeVonta Smith, Jerry Jeudy, Henry Ruggs and Jaylen Waddle. He forget how to coach?
But he didn't recruit any of those guys, and a couple of them he only coached for 1 year.
Deserves some credit for their development I guess but how much credit?

Coach of record gets 100% of what they do or DON’T on his watch.

Sure.
But if coach A recruits 5-5* receivers and coaches them for 3 years then leaves and coach B coaches those guys for 1 year, who is responsib le for putting them in the NFL?

Coach B has recruited lots of guys since then, and none of them are of the same caliber as what coach A recruited/developed.
That is evidence coach A is more responsible than coach B even though they both get at least some credit.

I just know Coach B gets fired if the guys on his watch don't perform...no matter who talked up their Mama. Talent ain't been an issue in that room.
