Surprise, surprise.

The violations listed for the football team happened between July 1, 2015 and June 30, 2016. They include:

"Former student-athlete provided personal training to current student-athletes free of charge."
Two times: "Coach sent a text message to a prospect."
"A trophy was temporarily placed in an area where prospects taking an official visit would be, which resulted in an impermissible recruiting decoration of that area."
"Coach called a prospect a second time during a week."

NCAA needs to make an example of them. Anything less than the Death Penalty is unacceptable to me

only one I see as being even a slight concern of real cheating is the first one. even then meh. the contact could be an issue, we fired a coach for lying about a BBQ, but again it shouldn't be.

Dude might as well save your concern. It will be better served in October.

It would be nice if one year their self-report included all the violations they knew about, to capture lines like this:

* Unnamed bag man gave recruit's mom $20,000 dollars. Seventeen occurences.
* Assistant coach brought five hookers to party hosted by booster on big recruiting weekend.
* Local car dealership gave favorable terms (pay $5 per month for duration of lease) to sixteen players.

Including only the boring ones is no fun. The compliance office guy putting together the report needs to be given the freedom to have more fun, include all the info. You know Bama's doing all this, they should include it.

It is certainly interesting to me that a thread about NCAA violations was started by a fan of the university that has Calipari as a coach.

Am I the only person who sees irony in that?
