As I lived there for 12 years and experienced the Reign of Terror that was Herschel Walker and the ever-lucky Vince Dooley, I know where you are coming from. The added plus was the condescending arrogance of Larry Munson towards all things Tennessee (No surprise, the sorry bastard called games for Vanderbilt.) and the equally arrogant (But at least funny and entertaining.) Lewis Grizzard.

But I've never seen those preening panzies in black shoulder pads with the sissy spikes attack their own and disrespect other schools' traditions like Bammer. That sets those cretins in a class by themselves.

I've thought the exact same thing for a long time. They're the most insecure , little man syndrome nutcases in cfb . If a week goes by where they aren't front and center on every sports article , they're in other teams' articles spewing their contempt . I know we have a handful too that are as bad , but it seems there's 5 for every gwhite (if you don't know who that is, move along. You don't want to know) .

I don't know where you live, but I'm down here around the Chattanooga area, and with those I meet, you're exactly right. Most of them -- not all, my wife is a pretty realistic and respectful UGA fan, lol -- are like that. It's just so weird how they had this strage, elitist, entitled, holier than thout mentality before Kirby, and now it's worse.
