Since the BCS era began in 1998, the only time we have had a rematch in the postseason with the National Championship at stake was in 2011 between Alabama and LSU and in that case, LSU was undefeated and Alabama had just one loss... and their regular season game had gone to overtime and hadn't just been played either. The only scenario I can see a rematch here is if Georgia wins tomorrow... They won't get into the playoff with two losses. What happens if Bama struggles for a half like they did against Citadel? Georgia is light years ahead of them. I get the feeling this game comes down to the wire.
My pick is Alabama 27 Georgia 9... I think Georgia will be able to move the ball in between the 20's but will stall in the red zone and have to kick short field goals and will also be stopped on downs a time or two. That is what really hurt them against LSU and was a problem that showed up again vs Kentucky. They couldn't run the ball inside the 10 on 3rd and short or 4th and short. I wouldn't be surprised if the total offensive yardage is close... Georgia will make some plays. When they get in the red zone, they really should think about putting Justin Fields in the game. As for Alabama, they will make some big plays early and mostly stick to the run in the 2nd half. I have them with 27 points because they will probably miss another PAT. That's their only weakness as far as I can tell.Them dawgs ain’t got a prayer. Tua gonna light they asses up lol. Game will be decided mid 3rd with Bama up decent 35-14...
