Michigan in Dallas in 2012, and ACC teams in Atlanta in 2013 and 2014. One thing you can say about Saban he isn't afraid to play anyone from any conference.

Exactly. Clear proof of stepping it out there and playing the behemoths.

Wasn't Tn. offered the opening game at Atlanta? I know Auburn had the offer for this year, and turned it down so LSU took the game.

Alabama has enough talent to do that. I doubt they will be an underdog anytime soon.

There was Dallas, from Phoenix; Cleveland - he was from Detroit; and Tex... well, I don't remember where Tex come from.

Seriously though...playing Michigan in Dallas will make for good TV ratings.

What does that have to do with what you're trying to pass off as reality?

I don't know of hardly any teams that would want to accept that and have the three first games of the season be three straight weeks of playing ranked teams with 2 and maybe even 3 being top 10.

Well I think they took care of Texas last Jan. and article in paper today about how Boise wants to play BCS schools, but had not contacted Alabama.

What does the national championship game have to do with this discussion? Michigan and the ACC.. wow

You said Texas, and ACC- VT WOW! or have you forgotten so soon? By the way, which SEC school was trying to buy their way out of playing an ACC school?

PLaying Texas for the national championship has nothing to do with whether Nick Saban schedules tough opponents. I also dont make the decisions on who tennessee does or doesnt play, nor do I start threads about how great our schedule is.
