Tell me about it! I almost feel like the government should step in and split that program up like they do with corporations that monopolize the market. There should be a 'Bama East and 'Bama West or something.

Kiffin is a very good OC. I wouldn't discount him. His dad wasn't a very good HC either but we all know how good he is as a DC.

FWIW, I believe there is a "Saban factor" to recruit rankings. He has earned it by being accurate in his recruit evals. When sites award 5* it is as much about "confidence" as quality. When Saban recruits a guy who appears to have top shelf measurables... the recruiting sites take notice. That gives them confidence.

Saban has the biggest impact on how the graders grade but Miles and others have an impact too. The guy who IMO has done the most to not deserve to have that factor is Meyer. He has a good record of winning with talent recruited by others but not in finding the right players himself. Usually his guys fail on character... kind of predictable considering his difficulty with being trustworthy or honest.

If/when Jones' players get it done on the field, his recruits will get more love.

Today is a great day for Vol fans everywhere. Our coaches have put together a great class coming off of a losing season. You can just feel the start of good things coming soon. I have been to every home game the last 4 years and can finally say I KNOW NOW we will win again soon. So for all of you doubters and downers out there, today is a day to be thankful. Get this BAMA crap out of here!!!

Well if they turn out to be like most of our 5* players then they won't make it past there sophomore season :dunno: :eek:lol:
