When showing NC's last night, ABC said they had "7" before the win last night.

Do you actually let a football program or a whole state control your life for you? Good grief!!

Thanks, Beecher.

Yep. Kind of wierd. Too bad McCoy didn't play the whole game. I wish he had. Now Bama fans have to listen to Texas fans, as well as all of the regular haters, whine about how Texas would have automagically won if Colt had played. They seem to ignore the evidence that Colt also missed out on getting smashed some more, fumbling and throwing some picks. He's proven to be fairly ineffective and a turnover machine against fast physical defenses.

The best team won. Would have been more interesting, if he had played. Kinda felt sorry for his replacement. Bad spot to be put in, especially against NS, and that D. Dang.

You put a lot of effort into this post. Envy much?

8, 10 or 13 - shouldn't you be more concerned about the Vols? Do you stress this much over Florida? LSU? USC?

There will be another season starting this September, and I think the Vols have a lot to look forward to. I think Florida will have a down year, and by down I mean 3, maybe 4 losses. I see no reason the Vols can't be in Atlanta next December, so why dwell on this?

you could say the same thing for tennessee's "6" titles

in 1940 Minnesota won 10 polls, Stanford won 3 polls, ......UT won 2
in 1950 Oklahoma won 6 polls, including the AP poll
in 51 maryland won 5 polls, UT 4 (AP), Mich st 3, Ga Tech 2, illinois 1
in 67, USC won all but 3 polls, including the AP. Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and UT each had one.

just saying from an unbiased point of view.

We as a fan base only claim 2.We don't walk around with a shirt that says "got 12" or whatever it is you wear. I will say this much, all those years before the BCS (although I still hate it) where really jacked up,and since none of those teams played head to head it's hard to tell what the truth is in some cases.Still,Alabama has a lot of NC's that a very much legit.

You don't understand the point? It has nothing to do with Tennessee. We're stating that they are living in a dreamland that they have 13 National Titles when they don't.
