Band CD

Just picked up the new Band CD "Pride" and it has the Gladiator music on it (The Battle). :rock: Unfortunately, I also now have New Age Symphony stuck in my head. :banghead:

Anyways, just brought to mind the question...Whats everyones favorite tunes OTHER THAN ROCKY TOP from the Pride of the Southland???

"Immigrant Song" is one of my Favorites, They do a great job with "Come on Ilene".

Yeah, they used to play it a few years ago. It has been phased out now. :ermm:

Love it when they play Jungle Boogie, however our pregame march is unrivaled in college sports. When they make the turn to form the T after playing our visitors fight song, By the way I think we are the only band that does that, what a show of CLASS, this is the part that gets to me. I too have the CD in my car and listen to it all the time. If I'm having a bad day, I just put it in and start dreaming. :dance2:

Chill Bumps #1 (inside the stadium) when the Pride uncoils and begins marching to it's formation on the field before the game. I can tell you every drum lick in the march-out. Hair raises on my head. I just LOVE that stuff! The Pride is as important to me as the game.
