Good thing we have an elite coach to dominate this elite conference....

LOL, Mitchell has a black eye. I wonder how he got that?

KY and their vaunted defense gave up 99 points. That style just doesn't work unless you have SEC refs.

This is why the SEC struggles in tournament play. We play rugby all year and then have to revert to basketball in the postseason.

No way the coach that many were begging for to replace Holly could lose. That's not possible. Good job Dayton! Glad to see the Happy Slappys go home. Mitchell won't get to whine anymore until next November.

look at the stats for Dayton 24 TOs to 5 for KY, 61% threes and 90% freethrows

kind of like our loss at ND where they shot a very high % in second half. when a team is 11-18 threes and 28-31 they were able to overcome .

and they hit two crucial three's when behind by 4 in last 3 minutes.

That was a great game & congratulations to Dayton!
I respect Mitchell for sticking to his guns and sitting Bishop. Might have only had her sit for first half, however ...

Mitchell lost his advantage a season ago when they tightened up the fouling and kept his team from mugging the opposition. I think he may be on the hot seat. Kentucky fans expect more from him for the money they give him.

It is a little more challenging to throw these anti-Holly zingers when the LVs (sadly, oh so sadly) win. Congrats on your creativity whereby other teams getting upset in the tournament becomes an indictment of Holly, who did not lose.:salute:

If Mitchell is on the hot seat, then so are about half the coaches in America.

It's you who should be congratulated, because those of us who have said all year that the SEC isn't that great are certainly the ones who look foolish now.... :clapping:

Looks like the LadyVols will be taking on Duke down the road. I think the LadyVols will beat the Lady Dukies.

Kentucky simply wasn't that talented this year. They get a lot out of their feisty style of play--although not enough, hey, hey.

Hopefully Duke hires Mitchell when they fire their hotseat Head Coach. It would be nice for UK to hire a nobody and slide to the bottom of the SEC again.

First off Duke still has to face Maryland just like Tennessee will have to face Oregon state(with Home court advantage playing a factor) but first we need to beat Pittsburgh tomorrow and then start talking about the next opponent.
