Risky. But the coaching market isn't good, he's been consistently around the program, Bielema has built a solid recruiting base, and Alvarez, if he hires good assistants, can let them do the work and he can be the figure man for a couple years before finding the man to take over. He's 65, so that's not too bad. And you basically just tell the assistant AD to run all the finances while you do it.

As long as the asst AD name isnt Mike Hamilton -- not a bad idea - Alvarez loves that school and is a proud man
