He is 6'1" 275 DT from Brentwood. We are in his Top 3. Here is his ESPN evaluation:

"Dabney is a somewhat interesting dude. He has some real likeable qualities as a player. He lines up and plays with a defensive mentality. He plays hard and is physical. Displays good quickness off the ball. Does a good job of using his hands to get placement and does a solid job of creating some leverage with his weapons. Against the run he can take on a block and move laterally to stretch with a play. He is active and can be tough to keep blocked. He can be tough versus the double team and does an adequate job of holding his ground. Plays with a good motor and pursues to the ball. Displays solid straight line speed and takes adequate angles. He is a solid wrap-up tackler. He can be a productive defender, but one thing about him is while he does some good things and you like his energy he tends to play very tall. Displays good brute strength to push smaller blockers around and hold his ground, but against bigger and better competition he could struggle if he does not bend more and play lower. Even when he tackles he tends to go high and because of his pad level he high he can struggle to bring ball carriers to the ground. He is also active with his hands and gets them on blockers, but needs to create more separation. He can struggle some to quickly shed and could have some problems if he allows blockers at the next level to get into his chest. As a pass blocker he can bull and collapse the pocket. Needs to work to develop pass rush moves. Dabney is a prospect who you like, but would also like to see him clean some things up. He has adequate size. He has the raw tools and energy to be a productive player, but needs to play lower."

Not ranked by Rivals... probably right Jurevicious, a fall back plan if Davenport or Bonds don't commit

Care less about a mod job. I don't think anybody is superior at attaching and pasting and copying. Just trying to give you guys more info so if you don't like it don't read it!!!

for what it's worth, I think this guy is more than capable of playing in our league. I hope the coaches are putting the full court press (mixed metaphor) on him.

One thing on the SAT score: are they still using the 1600 scale or the new 2400 scale now? That would match his scores up better if it was the new scale

SEC coaches (outside of Vandy) would do back flips and jump for joy if all their players could score a 22 on the ACT

Sorry, wasnt even aware there was a new scale for SAT's (mine was on the 1600 scale). Makes sense though, since it looked like he was bordering on being Doogie Howser.

I saw the kid play. While he did stand out a bit, I am unsure if he is SEC quality. Wish he was taller. I never saw him get pushed around and he stuffed the run at the line several times but he never made a push into the backfield.
