Thought this was interesting and it deserved it's own thread:

"I'll say this about Florida's class, the more I've seen a lot of them, the less I like them." - Barton Simmons

Better words have never been spoken!

But I thought the Gators didn't want any of our guys and they only offer the best of the best?!?!

I have wondered what kind of damage it would do to Florida's recruiting classes with Coach Kiffin coming in ripping recruits out of Florida left and right, and not just the one that sign with us, but the ones we make them fight extra hard to get where in the past it may not have been much of a battle. Just looking at this year, sure would be nice if Brown, and Elam had nothing to do with us. Where would Ambles, and Thompkins have gone if it weren't us? I wonder how much easier it would be for Florida to land names like Luc, Green, Dunkley, and Jones. Granted I know they are going to land their share but I do believe as Coach Kiffin increases our talent he is diminishing the talent of the gators.

What doesn't he like? The talent level or are they just a bunch of thugs? Or is it something else?

From Rivals? Rivals has us as one of the best classes in the country. Not sure what he is getting at but oh well.

You guys are actually putting more of a hurt on FSU and Miami right now. We are still getting some amazing Florida talent.

Well they updated their rankings just 2 weeks ago though. It just doesn't add up. I think his feelings are already factored into the rankings. For example, Jon Dowling dropped from a high Rivals-100 player all the way to a 3-star.

LV forgot to put in that later in the same post Simmons thought UF would bring in more talent than ours than that theirs could be scary.

Since you offered pretty much the exact same players we did, and are recruiting the same players for the most part, then by the transitive property does he not like your class too. Simmons rarely has anything good to say about the gators.

I'm sure they will have an awesome class. I just enjoyed his thoughts on the players they have now haha...

In other news, the Richmond gang-rape suspects have been recruited by Florida.

"We'll see to it they get punished in addition to what the law hands down. I guarantee they'll miss three, maybe four snaps at least."

The sanction is the most shocking since Florida penalized Ted Bundy three quarters for his role as an alleged serial killer.

"We take our ethical responsibilities seriously. Had Ted done that on the field during a game, you can be damn sure he would have had to do Indian Runs all week."

Come on I know this is a UT board and Vol fans love to pick at us Gators but that gang-rape post isn't kool that's someone daughter. Let keep it classy even if Mr. Spikes couldn't.

I think it's funny if you look at the offers of the guys we have committed now. You see USC, Notre Dame, Bama, UT, Miami, etc. If those schools thought they were worthy of an offer in addition to the UF coaching staff, I have a hard time believing they aren't elite players.

What is the matter with you? You are comparing someone poking another person in the eye to Ted Bundy. You seriously have issues dude. Also I believe UT has a commit from someone who watched his cousin get rapeed.
