Aaron Fit is really taking it from some fans on this weeks poll.

As you recall, BA is based in Durham, NC and their poll is always pro-ACC - more accurately Pro-NC and VA.

Virginia has not fallen from #1 despite 4 losses. The BA staff has always says a team that only loses 1 game per week should not lose their spot in the poll.

Now keep in mind, Florida State and South Carolina (undefeated) have played better and have no bad losses like Virginia.

So, the only real reason that Virginia is #1 now is because they were #1 on week one.

It's possible to look back at the opening poll and argue that Virginia (who has really done squat in postseason play) should not have been #1 until the deserve the spot.

I look for Tennessee to finally get in their poll tomorrow based on Fitt's tweet today. But I suspect they will drop out an SEC team to make the numbers work.

I would be surprised to see UVA fall from #1 despite a weekend loss to Duke. Florida State lost two games to Maryland.

At best, SC moves to #2. It sucks but it's going to happen.

I viewed their site just see if Tennessee was ranked. Other than that, I don't even keep up with BA since they are a pay site. I think they had Miami ranked 15th with a 5-5 record.

I may look at poll tomorrow, but I think decided not include them any further in my overall poll listing.

If they change and get their heads out of Swafford's butt then I may consider adding them again.

I have decided to never do SEC power rankings anymore. I came to conclusion that it was bad luck.

I think it's pretty silly to even have polls until next weekend. At least you'd be basing the polls over a few weeks of work, as opposed to what a team did the year before and it's reputation as a program.

They should be meaningless at this point, but they aren't, not really. It's much harder to get in the poll and climb, than it is to fall out of the poll. If the polls started next week, Virginia most certainly would not be at the top, for instance.

Sounds as illogical as Florida state losing five games if I recall right yet still freakin making to a BcS game are you freaking kidding me.
