Hope we can take 2 of 3 in this rivalry series this weekend. Would be nice to see. Heck, let's just go for the sweep while we're at it! :)

A question for you all that keep up with the team. Do you think there is a possibility of lance becoming the everyday second baseman and when Santiago catches, Waldren or Harris plays the other OF spot? Waldren has been better at the plate than Pruett so far this year. It just gets another bat in the lineup.

Would like to hear some opinions, keep things the same or make any changes

I think they want and expect Lance to be at 2B. That puts Hall in CF.

VJax was used as a DH in the last game with Benito in RF. As you say, that leaves a vacancy at LF...

I guess a few guys will get a shot at that position. Neither Pruett or Waldren have very many at bats versus SEC teams...Harris has had even less...seems like kind of a toss up at this point.

Looks like Soto is getting the start tonight, Warren tomorrow, and Cox on Sunday.

I'm guessing they dont want to waste Warren tonight against UK's #1. If it gives us a better shot at taking the series, I'm all for it.

I think it is because UK's best pitcher this year throws on Saturday. The Friday night guy has a 5.97 ERA, the Saturday night guy is 6-0, with a 2.40ERA.

Yes the numbers do show that, but Zack Brown is their ace. He was last year and probably is considered their best pitcher even if the numbers don't reflect it.

You could be right though, they may want Warren to face Beggs as he looks to be pretty good.

It sounds like they are having the same issue with Brown that we are having with Cox then. Whatever gets us a series win works for me.

That's cool...full report expected. :)

Astros home opener is April 11. I can't wait.

I hope Duffy gets off to a strong start. He's slated to be a bench utility player. He got the last position roster spot. Evan Gattis is on DL and will return in 2 to 3 weeks. Duffy had a good showing in September. Hopefully, he starts out the same way and makes it hard to send him back down.

Gotcha, thanks for the info. :hi:

Ok! It depends on which poll you look at then.

Yes but even the other poll has them at 26, just outside of their top 25...it's just kind of the way it rolls early in the season like this. UK took a series from #1 ranked UF...people take notice of that...
