I look forward to Longwood players looking me up on Twitter after the game.

Vols lose 7-5...stranding like 16 runners on base. Incredible.

You're not going to beat anybody stranding 16 runners, I know this team is young, but come on!!

Tough being a fan of the Vols these days. Can't say I'm really surprised though.

Meh, not going to overreact to this. Refocus and get ready for the weekend, being swept for a second straight week would be a lot more upsetting IMO. Just want to see this team make it to Hoover

Tough loss, too many left on base and errors at costly times....Gotta regroup and get ready for USCjr this weekend.

How in the hell do you strand 16 runners? I mean seriously...

The literal answer ("about two per inning") reminds me of an interview Arnold Palmer gave after a horrible round in which he posted a 12 on one hole.

"Arnie, how do you get a 12 on one hole?"
"Well, you miss the two-footer for 11."

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Not sure if serious....

A team like the Vols with a fairly high on-base percentage and a fairly low slugging percentage will tend to strand a lot of runners.
